These Customer Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Gloz LLC ("Gloz," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, booking services, or using the Gloz platform, you agree to these Terms.
Gloz is a technology marketplace that connects customers in Massachusetts with independent nail technicians. Gloz does not provide nail services and is not a salon. All services are performed by independent contractors, not employees of Gloz.
You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have legal authority to enter this agreement and book services.
You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your password, and promptly notify Gloz of unauthorized account use.
Appointment requests become confirmed only after acceptance by a technician. Estimated arrival times are not guaranteed.
All prices are displayed before confirmation. Gloz processes payments using third-party payment providers. You authorize Gloz to charge your selected payment method for services, travel fees, taxes, cancellation fees, and optional gratuities.
Cancellation and no-show fees are governed by the Gloz Cancellation & Refund Policy incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Cosmetic preferences alone may not qualify for a refund. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.
You agree to provide a safe, clean, well-lit environment; disclose allergies or medical conditions relevant to cosmetic services; secure aggressive pets; supervise children; and treat technicians respectfully.
Technicians may refuse or terminate services where they reasonably believe conditions are unsafe, illegal, abusive, or unsanitary.
Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. Gloz may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
You may not harass technicians, discriminate, threaten violence, engage in fraud, misuse promotions, create multiple fraudulent accounts, or attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid fees.
The Gloz application, trademarks, logos, graphics, and software are owned by Gloz LLC or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.
Services are provided by independent professionals. Except as required by law, Gloz does not guarantee any particular cosmetic result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gloz is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or services performed by independent technicians.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gloz from claims arising out of your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or unlawful conduct.
Gloz may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, repeated no-shows, safety concerns, or legal compliance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Where legally enforceable, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, except for matters eligible for small claims court.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or other reasonable means. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
