Effective Date: 08/04/2026
This Independent Nail Technician Agreement ('Agreement') is between Gloz LLC ('Gloz') and the independent nail technician ('Technician').
The Technician is an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, joint venturer, or agent of Gloz. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment relationship.
Technician represents that they are legally authorized to work, hold all licenses or permits required under Massachusetts law, and will maintain those credentials.
Technician accepts booking requests at their discretion and is solely responsible for the manner, methods, equipment, products, and timing used to perform services.
If Gloz requires a background check, Technician agrees to cooperate. Passing a background check does not guarantee continued access to the platform.
Technician is responsible for providing all tools, products, transportation, phone service, and other business expenses unless Gloz expressly agrees otherwise.
Gloz processes customer payments and remits Technician earnings after deducting platform fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes required by law, or other authorized deductions.
Technician is solely responsible for federal, state, and local taxes, self-employment taxes, licensing fees, and business expenses.
Technician agrees to maintain any insurance required by law or by Gloz policy and is responsible for claims arising from services performed.
Technician agrees to follow all Massachusetts sanitation and cosmetology requirements, maintain a professional appearance, use sanitized equipment, and provide respectful service.
Customer information is confidential and may only be used to perform Gloz bookings. It may not be sold, copied, or used for unrelated marketing.
Technician shall not intentionally solicit Gloz customers to avoid platform fees or interfere with Gloz's customer relationships where prohibited by applicable law.
Technician understands that customer ratings and complaints may affect platform eligibility.
Gloz may suspend or terminate access for fraud, unsafe conduct, repeated cancellations, unprofessional behavior, expired licensing, policy violations, or legal compliance.
Gloz retains ownership of its trademarks, software, branding, and platform. Technician receives only a limited right to use the app.
Business information, pricing, platform processes, and non-public customer information must remain confidential.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gloz is not liable for Technician business losses, lost profits, taxes, or claims arising from services performed by Technician.
Technician agrees to defend and indemnify Gloz against claims arising from Technician's services, negligence, misconduct, licensing issues, or breach of this Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
This Agreement, together with incorporated Gloz policies, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
